Linking monitor to a laptop - Help needed.***Wolves, Feeding Time!!!***

yo, does anyone know if you can link a monitor to a laptop? if so could you explain how? this is for poker purposes, so obv not bothered about implications such as having 1 mouse etc..

Yea, just get a VGA cable and run it from the back of your laptop to the monitor you want to use.
Then do this:
1. Right click your desktop and select properties.
2. Next click the settings tab.
3. If your video card supports multiple monitors, you should see a box with a 1 and a box with a 2. Those are your monitor sources.
4. Next click the box numbered 2.
5. Next check the box that reads,"Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor".
Now you should be rocken and rollen!! Don't forget to wear your poker face....oh wait, err, it's online....
