What do you mean? Are you talking about the HD DVD add on for the 360?

IM talking about 1080p setting from what I was familiar with ps3 and blu ray were the first that could use that setting. I know xbox works on high def tv but it I thought it only goes up to 1080i. I don't know if I'm still not making myself clear I apoligize. Xbox Hd-dvd add on only supports 720p and 1080i doesn't it.Blu-ray can play 1080p as long as your tv supports it. There is a differene between 1080i and 1080p, hard to notice with slow moving camera shots but fast paced sequences or sporting events look very different.

Thanks for your input everyone I found my answer. Ps3 and blu-ray were the first to use 1080p setting, now many hd-dvd players(including xbox360 hd-dvd add on)work on 1080p tvs.Sound good to me alough something tells me I should stick with blu-ray(little sarcasim don't hurt nobody)and I'll enjoy my hd tv. Thanks again people.

Wow, you can actually tell the difference? No way! You deserve a cookie.

Xenon24, all 360s can output 1080p. Actually the 360 was first as it arrived first and the firmware to unlock 1080p over component-video and later HDMI came out before the PS3.
