I bought a 20x DVD burner, it works fine. But do 20x DVD discs even exist? I browsed Ebay, nothing but burner came up. If they don't exist, why bother making one?

I can burn my 16X discs at 20X just fine.

I haven't seen any 20X media personally, but haven't really been looking either.

While you canburn at 20X or even 22X why would you want to? 16X media @ 8X is what I prefer.

Hehe me too, 16x discs at 8x (single or multiple-burner burns) and 8x discs at 8x (single or multiple-burner burns), you don't even hear about 18x anymore, 20x will probably be another short-lived fad :p

The 20X burn was actually a mistake. After loading Imgburn on my new build I forgot to set the burn speed and above is what I got. But, I typically burn my TY 8X media at 8X and all the 16X media at 12X with no ill effects. This is the QS for the 20X burn...

It's really not bad considering....I really don't mind waiting if I was to burn at 8X, but if I can burn at a higher speed with great results why would I want to burn slower? The difference is quality will be really be negligable.
