When out today to catch a sale at OfficeMax ... last day ... on Verbatim DVD+R X16 100 pack for $25 plus tax ... just as I got there some clown grabs all that's left ... probably going to sell them on Ebay ... OfficeMax won't give a raincheck so I had to go with TDK DVD+R X16 100 pack.

Are they as good as the Verbatim?
I tried to do a search on the forum ... but had no luck what so ever.

Feedback please ...

those TDK dvd's that you have are more than likely cmc-mags which are not good. the top two dvd media are Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim. thats also one reason people buy Verbatim in bulk when they go on sale at a good price.

spirittoo- You can get verbatims @ samsclub nearly any day of the week for about 29.99 per 100ct, spindle that's a little higher than a regular retailer's price but not by too much !!!

well you use this progarm http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/ to do a scan on one of the blank dvd's but that would mean that you would have to open them and i'm not sure if the store would take them back if they have been open. if it was me i would take them back but its up to you on that.

What? ... is there something in the rules that say I can't post the same question at two different sites?

I see ... well ... I looked through review of the TDK DVD+R on Amazon and most of the people seem to like it ... I guess I'll check them out ... but I did email Office Max and told them they suck ...

Not at all.

Your sig is too big though, 5 lines max for text only sigs so lets fix yours to conform to forum specs ASAP.

Thanks, but if you wanted to keep all your specs you could have included more than one on each line...just can't be more than 5 lines high.
