ok all your music reside on your computer and itunes if you buy another ipod all you have to do is connect it to the computer with itunes open and the new ipod will by sync with everything thats on itunes. Good Luck.

If it is all on your PC and on iTunes, it's all good. It'll get everything you get on there with NO PROBLEM!

Now, if you say have two iPods, then just make two separate libraries.

There are a multitude of things that you can do. You really don't need any other program other than iTunes for your iPod.

    SIMPLEST THING YOU CAN DO:
    Setup on iTunes.
Get everything you want in iTunes
    Sync to your iPod.

(unless you're talking about another computer :p)

The tunes reside in a hidden folder called control (I think) just back that up as you would back up anything else. Most real back up programs back up hidden files. You could just back up your ipod as if it was a disk. There isn't much on them but tunes.
