Hey again, So sorry if this is a newbish question. I searched and couldn't really find what I was looking for, so here I am. Like I said in a previous post, I am looking to be able to backup the bluray movies I own. I am about to get a burner, and some bluray discs. Now my question is, what type of blank media do I need? I found a burner that can support dual layer blu ray discs, but are those even available, and if so where? I don't want to buy into all of this, only to discover that I can't backup my blurays because the movie/disc is too big for the media that I have. With that being said, is it possible to rip only the movie file, or something like that so when I burn it, it is under the 25 gig limit? Or what steps/things do you guys do so you can backup your movies? If it helps, I would be getting anydvd hd. Thanks guys
I have back up a movie of mine via this method on a dual layer dvd+r http://club.cdfreaks.com/f142/bd2dvd-blu-ray-dvd-guide-232165/ It plays on my ps3 but its like 3 disks. i dont have a blu ray burner yet but i just used anydvd to rip the files to my hard drive and used tsremux to just get the main movie and the audio.
