I've used ConvertXtoDVD to convert and burn 2 MKV files. In the settings I made sure the TV format is set to auto. I notice in the opening credits of both movies, the names of the stars are cut off.

This is what I found out: When I play the DVD's on my wide screen, both sides are cut off. I've tried all of the wide screen options on my TV such as 4:3, zoom, horizon, 16:9. When I play them on my normal TV 4:3, they are not cut off. They also play fine on my widescreen monitor.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Check to see if there are any settings within the DVD player
    related to this.

Hey, thanks for making me look like a complete idiot! LOL. You're right. The setting for the DVD player was set to if you have a 4:3 TV. I set it to Widescreen TV and all is well.

Seriously, thanks! It never occurred to me to check the DVD player settings.
