Hey, ive got a ds fire link and it boots op just fine. I can see my roms but when i try to run them i just get a white screen. Ive tryed the different modes but nothing seems to work.

Do you guys have any pointers? - i dont have to converte the roms do i? - ive tryed the same roms on my dsx card and they all work fine.

    What could be the problem?

no, you dont have to convert the roms, old chap.
The problem is with your card. These firecards corrupt quite easily, and need reformatted every month or 2(in my experiences).
Give the card a quick format, put the xmenu back in, then the roms & it will probabaly work fine(for a while)
..Also, try to figure-out which games is causing the card to corrupt(usually the last one you played on it)& dont put this game back onto the card.
    .
    To format:
    put card in DS.
    turn on DS.
    hold start & select.
    chose quick format from menu.

i must be doing something wrong then. The card is fresh formated and still the same error. Maybe its because im on a mac :/ even tho it never seems to be a problem... i'll try once again with a format.

If you got any other pointers then please let me know

    Hmm...any other pointers, you say..
I could take some shots in the dark if you wish.
    .
connect the firelink to your PC >>> go into the 'dsystem folder' >>> delete the file that says 'last save'...then try to play a game.
    .
you tried a quick format by starting the DS then holding start & select....try a FULL format using this method.
when any of my cards displayed these symptoms usually i fixed it this way.
    .
card can also be formatted using LEFT RIGHT A B DOWN while turning on the DS...thats the left & right shoulder buttons.
    .
Some people say you should NEVER format the card in your PC, but i've done this a few times with troublesome cards which wouldnt format the proper way.
I wiped everything using windows format, then formatted properly with the card in the DS & hey presto, it worked for me.
    .
fiddle about with these methods & get back to us with the results.
    good luck.

    ok, i have it.
    .
"Maybe its because im on a mac"
    .
    yes.
try the stuff above if you like. My guess is that it wont work.
The mac is somehow making the files unreadably on your DS(so i'm told)
Try putting the games onto the card using a wondows PC & my 2nd guess it that your card will function perfectly.

because i'm strangely attracted to you, i gave the net a quick browz to see if there was a solution.
There seem to be lots of people with the same problem.
as far is i can tell there is no fix for this, i'm afraid.
    .
my advice is to stick yer roms on a wee pen-drive, get friendly with a girl who has a windows pc(or laptop),take pen-drive round to her house and use her device to put the games on your DS card.
    .
maybe in the future the card makers will make an update that allows the card to work with a mac.
    .
    good luck.
