TMPGENC error when converting files to DVD,avisplitter

I made a dvd that have a bunch of clips along with menus. Most of them are .avi with a few .wmv. When I go to "output" in Tmpgenc, it takes so long converting the first title. During this time, I see a bunch of FFDSHOW icons in my system tray, like maybe 10? The icons decrease and increase for 10 minutes or so. Then the program shows error "avisplitter.ax" could not be read. I've reinstalled K-lite full pack once and it didn't help. I registered "avisplitter.ax" and that didn't help either.

What should I do?
