Last time i used my box was late last year, (lots going on) it flashed up with a "0" on the screen and nothing.....
Box is a 7X18 VENT clone.
Need to fix that first, then i would like to update the firmware.
I know this has been spoken about lotes , but if some one could help that would be great.

1.Remove the cap (c21) electrolytic near the ribbon on the psu board.
2.Boot the box , it should boot to on and function correctly , the psu will hum ignore it , just let it boot to ON ,then turn it back off.
3.Replace electrolytic cap (c11) 1000 mic @10v on the psu board , resolder (c21)
thats it done.
You can get caps from Maplins they can also be found on fleebay item No 110091935709.
why dont you just update your box with the rolling firmware for clones??? IF you can do the above, sticking a cable into your SV and uploading the firmware which takes 2 mins!! saves all the messing around..............
