new to fedora

    hello guys am new to linux, i wan to leave windows totally but there are some programs i cannot do without such as corel draw nd adobe cs3 collection so i dont know if someone can help me through am using Fedora 8

    gimp and xara xtreme will do everything that proprietary software will.

    Try WINE.

    It allows you to run windows applications in Linux. You wont need it though because there is native Linux software for every windows app.

    Smart choice to switch to Linux. Fedora rocks!

    Ye you can actually get Adobe cs2 running perfectly on Wine now (that was a while ago when I tried to totally switch to Linux. So you can probably get CS3 running).

    I mean you can even install Direct X 9 on wine now.

    If your new to Linux I would reccommend trying Ubuntu instead of fedora. Its pretty noob friendly and VERY compatible.
