Hi, I have just installed ubuntu 7.10 on my ps3 but I can't set up a wifi internet connection. I am not fluent in linux but am competent. In the network connections window it only gives me the option for wired connection or modem. Am I being a complete noob? Does ubuntu have access to the ps3 built in wifi or do I need to use a usb wifi adaptor? Any advice anyone can give me would be more than appreciated.

Wow I wish I could help you out but I honestly don't know. I am currently formatting my hard drive so I can put Ubuntu on my PS3. If you figure it out please post the solution, I'll definitely do the same.

I just found this and this version of Ubuntu seems to work with wifi just fine. I think I might just do this its actually a pretty good tutorial. Hope this helps.
