hey i need help i just bought a starview box becouse i was told that you could use them as a freeview box through a normal roof areal and get channels such as uktv gold sentanna sports and all the encrippted and top up tv channels free with it is there anyway to change it from ntl an rest to just standed freeview digial??? but with all encrypted chanels unblocked

you need st*rview PVR or the b0x "T" for MMDS (ariel)

if you have an ariel & not cable, then you need the st*rview PVR b0x or st*rview the b0x "T". The SV b0x is for cable only.

Sorry to butt in , THE B0X-T is only for Chor*s MMDS in Ireland

If you have N*L in the UK then the normal Starvi*w will work to get ALL channels

If you have all the channels installed but only view some of them , Press menu on the remote , then 1570 , the last option is the EMY key , make sure it is ON , Exit back 3 times and start viewing channels :)

i don't have ntl in my house hold i wanted t fpr freeview and run it off a digital areal off the roof i got told it could be used for it

You need an incoming cable from a provider inorder for a Starvi*w to work , it cant be used with a Sat System
