have i burnt out my ram or is it the bios ?

    i have just attempted to overclock my ram and i think ive burnt it out

    when i turn pc on i get to my motherboard logo but then when i try and press del to get into bios it doesnt do anyhting i only have 1 stick out of the 2 in because when i use either one of the stick it doesnt even get to logo screen ?

    have i burnt out my ram ?

    i cant test another set because i only own 1 desktop pc =/

    get some new ram or borrow a friends:)
    try burning the latest version of your bios to a disc and see if you can then install it at boot, this might return your bios settings to default and thus allowing you to boot up with your original ram configuration

    if your ever able to boot into windows again run memtest

    have you reset the bios? if not try doing that. there should be a pin for that on your motherboard. what are you system specs?

    now that i think about....maybe you shot your cpu battery? check to see if it still in order....
