is there a patch that can be applied to a psp slim 3.90m33 that can enable gameplay on a tv through a psp composite cable?????

Nope you need a component cable (RED/BLUE/GREEN/RED/WHITE) Plus your TV must be compatible with the component hookup.

So larrylje what your saying is the(standard tv composite) RED/WHITE/YELLOW is only good to watch movies, music and pictures, but you need the (HDtv component) RED/BLUE/GREEN/RED/WHITE cable to play games?

Then that means the psp games even the emulators can only be played on a HD video system?!

No wonder I get the "progressive scan" warning even when I'm on progressive scan setting.

That sucks, thats why the component cables on ebay cost more.

And I just got my composite cable today, hence the reason I'm looking this stuff up, sigh!

What about the interlace setting? what's that good for?
