dvd+rw drives me crazy

    Hi,

    I have several dvd+rw medias lying around here - none of them are writeable anymore. The reason is, that the booktype is magicly set to dvd+r after writing an image to them and I can't find a way to set it back to dvd+rw.

    I have two writers here LG-4120B and SH-S182M. I tried cdspeed and several other tools, but a change was not possible. Any further hints?

    have you try just erasing the disc?

    yes - impossible, because it is identified as dvd+r ...

    ok - stupid me. I fell for the "RW" logo printed on newer +R only discs. Luckily, this is the newbe forum...
