i installed a few mods and i started the game up it will get to the load game screen and once the game starts loading the game will crash. i also tried downloading a new copy of san andreas and it still didnt work please help me ive been wanting to use mods for a long time
I think the mods will only work if you delete your saved data. The saved data is at My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files. If I were you I would just move the file to the desktop or some other place where the game doesn't access it so you have it for future.
download the san andreas downgrade patch (go to google and type the exact phrase gta san andreas downgrade patch and hit search it should be the first one if it says gta file front then thats it) download it if you have vista you will have to get the gta san andreas no cd crack do the same thing for this as you did for the downgrade patch then click on the first result if its a black screen scroll down and if yo see no cd crack download it and do what it says to install then go back to file front (if you want an mod that works i know for a fact that this one works find the search thing and type in andreas 08) this is the only mod that worked for me im still trying to find answers to my problems it might take a couple of hours but when its done REPLACE all of the files in the zip with the ones in progaram files rockstar games gta san andreas AND BACK UP THE FILE IN GTA SAN ANDREAS DATA TEXT AND MODELS BECAUSE THOSE ARE THE FOLDERS YOU WILL BE USING when your done with that load up the game and look for some cars trucks ect. have fun hope this helped here is a pic

just try uninstalling and deleting all your saved data in my documents. you can keep the music, photos taken and player statistics but delete everything else and reinstall again. should work fine. be careful when you mod. you can get cool cars and stuff which will even work in online multiplayer mod but sometimes you can get problems which will cause the game to crash. example, some cars. if you used the car mod then you can easily undo it and get on with you gta life
