DVDFab Platinum clone feature help

Hoping someone can help me. I have been using DVDFab free trial with no problems whatsoever. Contemplating buying this program or 1 Click DVD. My question pertains to the clone feature. I was trying to backup the first season of Rescue Me. I tried to use the clone setting but did not have success. I believe it is more user error than software which is usually the case. Any help such as pointing to the right guide would be greatly appreciated
