Well I should be getting mine on 4/02 and wanted to prepare. I'm already on AT&T 1. When I get it I should Activate thru iTunes first? 2. Then use iLiberty+ to do it all? 3. Then I can sync with iTunes? 4. My main goal is to just be able to add ringtones and themes.
I am getting a 16Gb version soon to. I would like to know the step by step using iLiberty+ too. Thanks all.

Update: got it hooked it up to iTines=Activated (left it hooked up & iTunes open) opened iLiberty+ clicked on Installer and Go For It. Was a bit nervous but it did it's thing with out a flaw. I tried replying to this on my iPhone but ran into a weird glitch but I'm sure it was just the edge connection. So I just got the Installer in now too find out what to install lol hope this helps anyone afraid like I was.
So, assuming you used a new OTB iphone, you plug it into the computer with itunes installed and running. Then open up iLiberty+ and do the step by step unlocking + flashing?
yep OTB 1.1.4 Activated thru iTunes (it also restored from 8/4/07 which i thought was kool) left it hooked up and iTunes open and just ran iLiberty+, np now on to the good stuff. and btw when i synced it included ringtones so those are np to add.
You mean you have activate it with iTunes first before doing the rest? I want to unlock the phone so that I can use it with a diff network. is the activation through itunes necessary?
no if i was you then just open iTunes hook up the iPhone just so you can see iTunes see's it, then leave iTunes alone and open iLiberty+ and select all and Go For It!!!
