How do I make Transmission the default program for BitTorrent files? Right now it goes to Limewire.

    I woud like to make it so when double click on a torrent file it goes to Transmission but instead right now it is going to Limewire. Help!

    Hello, Gonzo84:

    1. Click once on one of your Transmission .TORRENT files.
    2. In the Finder: File -> Get Info
    3. Go to "Open with" and select the application of your choice from the drop-down menu.
    4. Click the "Change all" button if you want all .TORRENT files to exhibit this behavior.
