I have an SCH-u620. I figured out how to use Bitpim and send ringtones across to the phone. I wanted to go a bit further and figure out how to send Java games to the phone. I wanted to try it out on this phone and my dads old KRZR K1M. Please help me with this. Thanks.
Hi Core2Kid, I have an SCH-u620. Can you tell us what you did to figured out how to use Bitpim. I have been trying with no luck so far.... Thx
Install the drivers to the phone, if you haven't already. Restart your computer. Connect your phone and wait for it to initialize. Go into Device Manager making sure it has installed your phone. Tell Bitpim to search for "Other CDMA Phone" on port "Auto" It should detect it. Post back if you need more help.
You where right BitPim worked...Thank you! I was able to use the BitPim file menu and found my installed Memory card (MCC1). Up-loaded & Down-loaded ringtones (MP3), videos (used quickTime Pro to convert to MPG4) and music (MP3). I used Ventones to edit a 10 sec ringtone...that worked very nicely....
