Can someone explain something to me!!

    How can a movie that came out before High Def, claim to be high def? For example terminator 2 is out on blu ray?? Isnt this impossible? I can see if they say upscaled to almost as good as HD, but it cant really be HD right?

    Actually 1080p has less resolution than 35mm film.

    So when you have the original Terminator 2 35mm film - you have to "downconvert" it to 1080p to get your BluRay disc.
