i have connect it with patch cable with my wireless router i have used hdl dump srv and it has ip 192.168.0.10 i have changed my pc ip to 192.168.0.11 with the same subnet mask and without gateway or dns

i have ried to ping my ps2 but no reply also the back leds in the network adapter doesn't blink or even emit light

does this means my network adapter damaged or what ?

is there any step by step tutorial to networking with hdl dump gui & srv please refere me to it

What type of patch cable are you using from router to PS2. A CAT5 RG45- regular network cable.

Also did you change the PS2 IP Address here.

yes i have adjust the ip and i use normal straight though patch cord cat 5 rj45 i have also tried crossover with my pc direct awy of router but the proble is the network leds doesn't emit in any cases that is mean it is phisically not connected
is that mean the network card is damaged but i bought it as new not used one or it can connect without led emiting

i think if it's phisically connected it must reply wehn i am try to ping it or the leds emits

Ok are you sure its connected properly to the back of the PS2.

You can hear your hard drive run when the PS2 is turned on.

If it still don't work and its new, can you return it.

Otherwise try using WinHiip on the computer and transfer games.

I also find I can use LordBogami's gui using hdld sevr 0.8.1
But if I switch to the hdld sevr 0.8.5 it does not work, and only hdld gui 1.4 by Vtecorona works with it.

last thing u can help me with check if u can ping ur ps2 and the network card back light emits when u insert the cable

Yes I can ping the ip address of my PS2.
Also when I connect to the router, the light is on showing PS2 connected.
I have no lights on the PS2 network adapter as there is none.

i have posted two issues in the software boot discussion i hope you can give me some answers regards to the modchip and how to boot from hdd and swap boot from hdloader and ulaunchelf or other elf
