    Hello people,

my first post on here so be gentle ;o)

I have a nokia dbox2 for a few years now. The other day I go to turn on it and it froze just as it was booting up. I left it for a minute to see if it would sort itself but no luck.

I restarted the box and when it started the screen was blank. There is nothing on the LCD and no output on the TV. Everywhere I read people are saying to try and reflash the unit but this does not work for me.

My setup for reflashing does work as I borrowed my brothers identical box and the flashing worked. I use the Hallenberg IFA, null modem cable and the network is connected via a switch. His box flashes ok so I know my setup is good. With my box I get nothing, only the LCD lights up with nothing on it. There is not even a link light on the switch for the box.

Has someone else encountered this problem and if so can it be fixed?

    Cheers,

    John.

    Hi,

gonna sound like a total noobie here but what is the bootlog? Are you referring to the serial output from the box when I turn it on? If so then there is no output at all - not one single character (

No output on LCD at all. All that happens is that the backlight comes on.
