How to test Internet speed ?

Well i just taken a new internet plan - 512Kbps...

Now i just knw speedtest.net... and if i run a test on it i am getting reported 10424 kb/s- Download & the upload speed is 252kb/s.

So am i getting 10mb speed ???

I have ran the test over and over!

Any other reputed software where i can measure the speed ??

 

For some reason, I also get ridiculously high results at Speedtest.net.

You could try DSL Reports' speed test as it returns realistic results for me.

All what you need to do is just locate your city from the map and double click then it will show you the speed of download and upload.
