PCI 2.3 in 2.2 slot?

    I'm planning on buying a TV card in order to record my PS2 replays onto the computer, the card I'm interested in is a WinFast DTV1000S by LeadTek. My rather old motherboard has a PCI 2.2 slot but the card specifications says '32-bit PCI 2.3 bus mastering Compatibility'.
    So will the card work on my motherboard?

    Check your motherboard homepage to see if you can update the mobo or if it really needs a update to do so.
