DVD+RW help, cant burn avi file

i want to burn a 702Mb Avi file into a Dvd+RW,

is it the right type of CD? i dont know the diffrence
between Dvd-r and dvd+rw and all that.

i tried to burn but i got an error and wouldent let me copy the data into the DVD+RW =(

so any help please?!?!

DVD-/+R aren't rewritable (one time burn only)

DVD-RW are rewritable but can be picky (have to burn at 4x max)

make sure you have to most up to date firmware for your drive/burner,check here

and use Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim blank media burning at 4x to 8x max
