ifo vob bup files

    can any 1 tell me what these are?
    ive decoded my dvd and am just bout 2 write it these are the files what i hav after decoding!

    should i be putting sertain files into audio and video?

    IFO=InFOrmation
    There should be one of these for the entire disc, plus another one for each Video Title Set (VTS_xx). These files tell your player what's on the disc and where it is.

    BUP=BackUP
    There should be one of these for each IFO file. They're exact copies of the IFOs.

    VOB=Video OBject
    This is where all the video, audio, and subtitles are stored.


    If you mean the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders, all DVD-V (DVD-Video) files go into the VIDEO_TS (Video TitleSet) folder. AUDIO_TS is used for DVD-A (DVD Audio) discs and isn't even required for a DVD-V disc.
