Hey folks

Ok I'm just after getting a new starview box 3 super (my first box) that according to the guy I got it off is pre-flashed.

I'm in Ireland (on ch*rus basic (cable not mmds) and following the instructions the seller provided I reset box to factory settings, english, set provider as N*L and tried auto-install... went through all field which all failed so ended up with 0 programs found. I then tried this again as Ch*rus and same results.

Next I was reading around here and saw some starview codes for ch*rus and n*l so I tried these in that secret menu but same story.

Any other ideas what I can try or do?
Any other information you need please let me know.

The super Box is not for Chorus MMDS, it wont work, its only for NTL MMDS and NTL True Cable,

you bought the wrong box mate, you need a BOX T or DDIGITAL T or any T variant box

They are on Ch^^us cable Mick :)

I was told that the box works on ch*rus cable (which I have). Nearly 100% sure I dont have chorus mmds as researched this before getting box and dont have ch**us aerial.

Located in thurles, tipperary.

Dont think problem is box as friend got one as well as his works fine on dublin N*L.

But as i said i'm very new to this so quite unsure what i'm talking about :)

I think we will revert back to Mick's answer as Thurles is fed from an MMDS mast at the moment.

Ah crap, prob should have found this out before buying one.

So only the box-t or any of the t variety are my only ways?

I bought a "the Box-t" on the web even though I needed a "The Box 3".
Doh.
I am in Dublin. We could do a swap either by mail or if you are in Dublin in the next week or so we could meet up and swap.

Hey hope someone can give me ideas.

Managed to swap the starview 3 for the starview box-t and just tested it there but exact same result as before. No channels found even after inputting most recent codes.

I'm out of ideas as at least one of the boxes should have at least found something!

JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW OUT THERE IS NO CLONE SAFE STARVIEW 1 FIRMWARE OUT THERE ANYWHERE THERE IS A FAKE FILE RENAMED AS CLONE SAFE THAT IS ALL IT IS THE V4.00 RENAMED AND THE TUT HAS ALSO BEEN EDITED TO BRING THE AUTHOR OF THE NEW FIXED V4.01 DOWN SO YOU ALL KNOW NOW IF YOU USE THIS FILE YOUR BOX WILL DIE IF YOU PUT ON A CLONE BOX


AS YOU ARE ALL AWARE I HAVE STOPPED POSTING ON HERE BUT I HAVE MADE AN EXCEPTION TO THIS AS I DONT WANT YOUR CLONE BOXES AS DOOR STOPPERS

Where are you, all the codes are in the link at the bottom of my post - updated as and when available. - To get to the codes in your box >> Menu - 1570 to enter Cas System - Press OK on Nagravision - scroll > whith arrow keys to your provider - to enter manually - down Key Data on 00 line and enter numeric with the key pad and letters as follows
A - Pause Button
B - Audio ------
C - Red ------
D - Green ------
E - Yellow -----
F - Blue ------
When 00 is entered press OK to save - go up to 00 and change with arrow key > to 01 and then back down to key data and enter repeat the steps above and again press OK to save after each line entry, (you will store flash) for more info go to link.

Exit and try again, if it does not work then try the following :-

Menu - Parental Control OK - Now Press INFO and type 2004 and Cas System menu should now appear. Take your time.

i just cant get the cas system up at all unless i dont put 1570 n put another code in im not sure?

2004 wont work

Depends where you are and who your provider is, what is it you want to know exactly????????

i liv in the west midlands and the network provider is NTL. i tried the codes that you gave out before, but they were'nt working... any ideas on what i should do?

just got starview 3 the box im in west mids on telepest cant flash cant get channels on help anyone please
