dbox dvb ntl dublin

Hi All,

Im using a Nokia dvb dbox here in Dublin and it looks like NTL changed the codes recently. I userstand there is a way to input new codes to get the thing decoding the channels again but I cant find any instructions about how to do this. Can anyone help?

If you read through the threads the answers are there, have you done this sort of stuff before??

 

Had a read of the threads but didnt see any insttuctions anywhere. problem was there was no manual with the dbox. Can you point me to a relevant thread? That would be great.

If anyone is looking for a image for the dublin area i have a file set in my folder below with the Boq&servive files ready for the dbox2 and sagemx2 work away on it

I notice that the Dublin working file is md3, what do I need to do to this file to use it? it needs to be .img right?

that dublin working file just download it to your desktop and rename it to mtd3.img and load it with Flash assit
make sure your cam is set at EVOCAM
enable Nagra rom 7 and disable the rest
Reboot box and see how ya get on

Unfortunatly it didnt work. I flashed the box alright and checked the other things you mentioned. The list of channels comes up but none (bar maybe 2) can be viewed. I wonder do I need a new keylist?

I'm not having much luck with this and its driving me nutz, I feel like drop kicking it over the nearest wall!

I've flashed the dbox with the md3 img file (Andromeda Ver 2) I've checked the nagra roms and its only using 7, I've edited the keylist file and put in the latest keys and still no picture.

The only thing that is strange is that everytime I go back to the keylist.txt file its different, I know i'm editing it correctly and saving it, its what I want it to be for a few mins but then after about 10mins when I look at it its different, is this the way it should be?
Can you think of anything else I need to do ?
Sorry if i'm driving you mad, I really appreciate your help on this.

 

Panic over! I updated the keys again and it seems to be working now.
