Hi All Ive just bitten the bullet and bought a Nvidia 8800gt 512mb....and Wow what a card!!! it runs all my games high res...cod4,mohab,bioshock etc. The problem is im running a Q6600 quad 2.4ghz 3gb ram but only 405W psu...and i need to keep an eye on the gpu temp? (Vista Premium) Ive heard of Rivatuner(to over clock and to up the fan speed) and Ntune...and 3dbenchmark.....are these progs easy to use? and can i find out my fps from one of these free programmes? If anyone has any input or could recommend some software it would be great..! Im not a noob with pc's...but with Graphics im not so sure. Many thanks in advance.
i was gonna use RivaTuner to OC my Radeon HD3870 card but i from what i herd that the preOCed Radeon HD 3870s were having some problems so im kinda afraid to OC it. but RivaTuner is really easy to use from what i saw, alot of ppl use it
Thanks for your response DDR. I may not O/C the card yet,untill i no the GPU temp.....dont want it to go POP...will download Rivatuner later 2day though. Thanks again.
