Hey guys i need a help.recently i bought a verbatim dual layer double sided 9.4gb DVD RAM disc.i bought it to use it as a dual layer rw disc to safely write 8gb video data stored in my HDD.but whenever i insert the disc to write 8.5gb of data NERO shows "please insert another disc with more size".i think the system accepts the disc as a 4.7gb general disc and not a 8.5gb disc as it has 4.7gb of space on each side.i think i need a program which askes for the disc to be flipped after half writting.but don't know how to achive this. pls help me on how to do this.if the problem is not solved then all my hard earned money is wasted.so pls help me...anyone..

You can split it into 2 parts with Dvd Shrink or if you have
DvdFab Platinum you can split into 2 also.

Edit-Fab will let you keep your menus Shrink won't.

Sorry my friend i think u didn't get my point.i want a way with which i can make the system to recognise my disc as a 9.4 dvd rw disc and not a 4.7gb disc.i want a software which asks for the disc to be flipped after 4.7gb of data to write the remaining 4.7gb so that after this i can disc copy this to a single side 8.4gb double layer disc for storage.the data includes softwares, video & audio.so if any of u know of this then pls tell me.700 bucks of my wallet are at stake here.

I'm pretty sure DvdFab will ask you to insert next disc when you use split disc option. As far as a program knowing you have a two sided disc, I think your out of luck. DvdFab is the only one i've worked with that lets you know when to put in your next disc.
