I would like to make tutorials using various video clips including recording the monitor screen and my voice narrating the video. Is there a some what user friendly software that can do all this? If not, what softwares are the most compatible to use with each other to do this kind of tutorial? Thanks.

try the program capturewiz. It does a good job of capturing a video of the desktop. Very good video quality and very essy to use.
