This has been happening for the past year, and I still can't figure out for the life of me what the problem is. My xbox is modded, I turn it on and it loads the Xecutor2 screen but then it goes to a blank screen....just black. It still loads disk games and everything, but the dashboard won't load at all.....someone please help
Have you tried an auto installer to reinstall dashboard with? something like slayers or auto installer deluxe (aid) or softmod installer deluxe (sid). You can get these installers all over the net or from xbins. You can even wipe your hard drive and restore it to factory.
I download AID, I burned the contents of the folder onto a DVD - put it into my xbox, and nothing loaded
Do you have a chipped box or is your bios flashed with xecuter 2 bios? IF it is flashed then you can't use a auto installer disc or any disc for that matter. The older xecuter 2 bios won't let you run any of the newer programs. Best thing to do would be to take your hard drive out and use xplorer360 to read your drive and fix your files. Your drive should be unlocked due to the xecuter 2 bios flash. Good luck, and before asking more questions on here use the search button, you would be amazed what you can find. And by the way you can't just throw the contents into a dvd, you have to use iso burn or nero to burn the iso (image file) to the disc, and it has to be a dvd.
