Sony have now released PSP Firmware 3.95. This update is available over the network update feature in your PSP’s XMB or download from this link here
PSP Firmware 3.95*
While playing PSone games on your PSP, you can now customize how the buttons are assigned by going to [Controller Settings] > [Assign Buttons] and select [Custom].
* You can now quit Remote Play and choose to turn off your PS3 or leave it on after quitting. This is useful if you are performing a download and want to quit Remote Play, but still want your download to continue on the PS3. Select [Quit and Turn Off the PS3 System] or [Quit Without Turning Off the PS3 System] from [Quit Remote Play] when you press the HOME button on the PSP system.

An X.X5? They've never done that before... And what happened to 3.94? :) Sony really don't know about version increments, do they...

Stop right there :P
That error code is given as a failsafe to stop you upgrading to official firmware.
You don't want to install this, stay on your custom firmware and wait for the M33 release (That is if DaX bothers, since it's another small update that pretty much does nothing)

just been on dark alex's site he's saying Again, don't ask for M33 version. :) i recon he'll wait a while to see what sony will do next.

Yes yes yes and yes, the Pandora Battery is hardware based, not software based, it can't be blocked by a firmware update.

Disappointing, I was hoping for something brilliant... I hope that 4.00 will be like the other X.00, because 2.00 gave us internet browsing and 3.00 gave us the ability to play PSX (I think.) 4.00 should at least give us the ability to listen to music while playing a game. The homebrew version of that is rubbish.

i just upgraded to this v3.95 and i found out it cannot play game from memory card. can anyone tell me how come i downgrade back to version 3.90 m33-5 ?

this is official firmware your gonna need a pandora battery and mms

ok u will have to get someone with a custom phat psp to make the battery or but a datel tool battery here is a guide for the memory card. LINK
