can anybody tell me why my box is continually updateing it gets to about 120% then starts again ive tried going back to factory settings then putting in the codes which have worked in the past but not today whats wrong with it or should i just kick it ?

your firmware is not working you need to update there are links on the site to help you out just put codes in manually for now

i just turned mine of at the wall for a few mins and turned back on and it let me put new codes in.good luck x

Hi, heres hoping someone can help, I have a genuine starview and have downloaded the new firmware it appears to load ok, counts up on pc and box and says download complete.
Problem is it still won't auto update, if I manually input codes then my channels come back,but I lose them when the codes change, any ideas.

Hi there, cryptstar-v1.4 genuine only, downloaded from a link on here, pretty sure I have done it correctly, followed some of the good idiot guides on here.

Press Menu then 1570 and press the "Set Default Key" , press OK and tune into S*Y Sports and it should auto update for you

hows it going des ... ive just got a box off my mate i think its starview the box cos i done a first generation last night for him so was just wondering what box it is it just has the box on the front with one of the lines in the x being red it slso has 25x7 vents so what box is it and which software and firmware is it gtrom loader and thebox_H20071015_454eE_api.bin would this be right or what is right thanks a million

the date was not changed thats why it still says jun o7 but it is the right one

After twice flashing my mates genuine sv1 it still would not auto-roll but after reading this post and trying hey presto it's back on and auto-rolling.

can anyone help have had my starview box for 2 years now, was always told it was an original but was told if you weren`t sure just use the clone fix so i am running with a 2.57 version but it never updates itself any ideas as to how to tell if it is a cloned box

If it a genuine the power cable on the back will come out from the left hand side also on the top their are vents on a genuine box there should be 7 rows of vents with 25 slots in each row.

yep i would say that it is a cloned box 18 x 7 vents the back looks the same as the pic in attack of the clones but i have an original remote ?? strange...cheers

is there a link i can go to so that i can get the codes quicker,been using another site that has stopped posting the keys( ithink you will know who i mean )...kings people in my work recomended this site so i am just getting used to it only joined yesterday
