im just wondering if i should upgrade my ethernet nic i have a realtek RTL8183/810x Family Fast ethernet nic the raeson i ask this is beause at the moment after doing speed test on different sites and other things my conection is 18.5MB out of 20MB so i can download about 2.5+Mb/s which is great considering alot of people mone about virginmedia anyway as i was saying about my ethernet nic i know from this update my conection drops well it did before i dont a complete re-install of my system (which is windows vista ultimate) i just dont know if it'sworth upgradeing my ethernet nic if it works better with the one currently installed anyhelp on this matter would be kool o-yeah and thanks in advance for your help wo ever you are lol
Seeing as its a "fast ethernet nic" upgrading shouldnt give you anymore speed. So there really isnt any point in upgrading, seeing as there will b no benefits, unless you want to run dual nics, which only helps if you are setting up a server.
