should i get a video card and monitor with an HDMI output? or should i just get standard VGA? or is it alright to get VGA video card with an HDMI adapter( like some video cards come with) and use it with a monitor with HDMI output?

i want to know if i can get just as good quality/graphics using VGA or HDMI. would it be a big difference to use HDMI?

DVI is the interface most graphics cards come with these days. Using a DVI->HDMI connector is fine, it should not result in any degradation in image quality like VGA adapters do.
