    Hiya Folks,

I was just trying to get some recommended gfx cards for my machine. Its a Emachines T2862 system with Intel Integraded Graphics. I have a budget of $100.00, and i want a card that can run World of Warcraft Smoothly at full settings, and i have already upgraded the ram. So just leave your suggestions.

    Thanks,
    Chuushin

Does that e-machine even have an AGP slot or a PCI-e slot?

I believe that Emachines T2862 doesn't have a pci-e or an AGP, but only has a standard PCI slot.

You will be able to upgrade but not into something too great. PCI graphics cards aren't very good.

You could always upgrade to a better motherboard, and then upgrade your graphics card from there.

Im not certain on this but i dont think the Apple Imac G4 supports PCI-E, i think thats also just pci, but id wait till someone with some more info replies

well not screwed, just severely limited in options

a motherboard upgrade along with a gfx upgrade would be far better!

Even if you could put in a new graphics card, the PSUs in emachines are absolutely diabolical so it'd probably catch fire anyway (I'm not joking). Your only option to get a gaming PC is to buy/build a new one, preferably build one.

An E2160 CPU, a P35-DS3L motherboard, 2GB of decent DDR2, an HD3850 graphics card, a decent Power supply and properly cooled case will set you back <$500.
