    I recently uninstalled some codecs and once I restarted my PC found that I had no sound. The only options I had in the sounds and audio devices menu were through bluetooth gateways. I uninstalled my Bluetooth drivers hoping that they were the problem. Still nothing. Looking through the device manager my Realtek high def audio bus is not working properly, I redownloaded the updated drivers and Windows refuses to find them. I booted into safemode, uninstalled anything realtek in the add/remove, and went through the device manager uninstalling all my audio drivers to start fresh. And still no luck any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I'm running;
    XP SP2
    Asus M2Ne (through the onboard 7.1)
    AMD 6000+
    and 3 GB of corsair at 667

    reinstall the audio drivers off your motherboard CD.
