Grokster killing my computer....

ever since i downloaded grokster i get constant pop-ups and my internet runs very slow..
is it just grokster that does this?
or do all file sharing programs do this?

try Kazaa lite its basicaly the same and My pc runs fine unless I am downloading madly taking all the bandwidth up but it doesn't have alot of the files grokster or the normal kazaa has

oohh and to stop the pop ups download google's toolbar My pc stops an awful lot of pop ups each week thanxs to googles toolbar
