hi there i recently bought the starview box super. i turned it on and i found around 130 channels(happy days). then after about two hours my signal went down and was scrambled.i didnt really have a clue of what to do, so i restored the factory settings and since then i cant even get one channel in. i have tried all the new codes and following all the correct steps including the emu on. nothing has worked, can someone please help. i am in the south dublin area and connected to n*l
Make sure you have the incoming cable into the "CABLE INPUT" socket at the back of the b0x Check your normal TV and see if the pipe is still OK
thanks for your reply. wasnt the cable, not to sure what is wrong but i have found about 40 channels now (loads missing). but only the standard channels i already had are working.should i reset and scan again or what should i do. Please help
Menu > Factory Setting PIN 0000 OK to delete Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on English > Installation Choose Provider etc Automatic Scan Press OK Channels found Exit Press Menu then 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit
hi celtic71.Tried what you told me to do but i still have no joy. Its saying no channels found. Should i enter the new codes and then try it. its just that i thought this box was supposed to update itself.
hi again. I got around 38 channels in but every time i change channel i lose signal. If i turn of the box and turn it on again i get the channel back and the same thing happens if i change. I got the channels by inputting the updated N*l codes but cant understand why im not getting all the other channels. Im very confused at this moment in time. I have been through this whole site and seen you solve everyones problems. i would be delighted if you could do it for me
