My disc drive wont open!!

Hi I just got a 5 year old PC with a DVD drive in it for free. Anyhow everything is working fine but one problem the CD drive wont open when I press the button how come? how do I fix this any info will be great thanks.

Press eject and knock it on the top above the spindle ;)

Hi a m8 of mine had a look at it before. There is no lights coming on the front of the drive. He opend the PC and could not see anything wrong there was some kined of metal holder protecting the drive witch the screws where very tight and could not open so am just going to buy a cheap one of ebay thanks for replying.

The drive is dead. Take it out, and trash it.
