Nvidia 8600 GT is VERY LOUD

    I just bought a 8600GT card, but the fan is making a whole lot of noise, from the moment i turn it on, even if just surfing the web. I'm not even interested in overclocking or anything. Is there anything I can do to lower the fan speed? I'm using XP with the latest drivers...

    Download rivatuner and you can adjust the fan speeds.

    Thanks I'll try it.

    What's a good temperature to keep for a graphics card while surfing the web etc, so when not using it very much? Usually it around 48-50, reaches 55 when I play a game.
