DVD decrypter sound problem

I'm ripping DVDs with DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 and playing back the VOB files in Windows Media Payer but there's no sound. Can anyone help? I have ripped the files in File F and IFO mode and the problem occurs with both approaches. Can anyone help?

Check the Start menu to see if AC3 filter is installed - or use the Control Panel ADD/Remove.

Play the file.
See if it has sound.
If it does - fine - if not, you can uninstall the filter.
