What would be the best quality settings (sharp , smooth, etc)to burn a 6.36GB movie on a 4.7 dvd.

The DVD is Digital Video Essentials HD DVD. Used for calibrating my image quality on my plasma and surround sound. So i figure it has to be really clear and sound has to be really good.

Dvd shrink's quality enhancements-the method that I use:


Example:Shrink shows 75. Then there's 25% compression so I'll tick Max Sharpness. Anything below 70 (30%) compression,then I tick Max Smoothness.

Anything above 90,just slight compression, I leave the AEC enhancements unticked.

If you can get a hold of a couple of DVD-/+RW's,then you could test out and see if there's any noticeable differences between the different enhancements and your equipment.

For my set up,I can't see much of a difference between Max Smoothness and Max Sharpness. They do help the highly compessed backups.
