I've got a ton of standard movies on DVD and just bought a 52" HD Led
    TV.
The movies that looked pretty good on my old set now look like crap on the HDTV.
I heard somewhere that when you play a standard DVD on a HDTV with a Blu-ray player the picture is enhanced considerably. Is this true?
That would make buying a Blu-ray much more justifiable in my mind.:)
I'm also considering buying a lap-top with a Blu-ray player in it and playing my movies on the TV out of the lap-top via HDMI connector.
I guess basically I just want to know if the Blu-ray does make that much difference in picture quality.

    Regard
