    Hi ppl,

I'm gonna buy an lcd tv and after much research and a look into the local market (and also my budget) I think I'm gonna go for the Samsung LE37S86 or LE40S86. I tried to search for a review for both models but could not find any (I only found a few for the R models).

What do you guys think of the S models? Are they any good? Basically I would be using it for games with the ps3 and movies.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Hello there! My suggestion would be to stay away from the R series and go for M 87 series.
I myself was in your position and was torn between 37" or 40" and in the end i got niether!! I opted for a 32" M87 because it was 100 htrz and believe me it is worth it! the Screen refreshes at a much higher rate than the r series which makes for much smoother viewing!
I Have a PS3 also and the games and Blu Ray Movies look AMAZING!!
It also handles SD signal very well although almost everyone has digital at this stage!!
Just don't get suckered into Paying over the odds for A HDMI cable that has gold contacts.... it's a digital signal so it makes no difference if it were made of Cocolate!!! A decent one can be got for around 15Euro or £10

You should be able to afford the tv as it is out over a year now.. don't worry that it is not full HD... it is not noticable as it is a 32" Remember.. treble the screen size and thats how far away you should sit away... that applies to all HD screens. Take that into consideration.. if you need bigger.. hold out and save for a m87 40" Full hd... if you really want to!!!
