I have one old computer mabye two years which runs a 2.53 ghz celeron with 448 mb of ram. I have another new computer with 3gb of ram, but with 2.2 ghz intel premium. I can keep one computer but have to give away the other. Im just wondering which ones better or if i could swap the ram on the newer computer? thanx

depends on the type of ram they use as in sdram, ddr or ddr2 as they are not pin compatible with each other. what is the make & model# of the pc's or motherboards?

The ram is 512mb, but its sharing 64mb with integrated graphics on your motherboard.
thats why its coming up as 448mb

A P4's better than a celeron anyway, the 3GB RAM PC sounds much better.
