    Hi all;

    I just bought a Zenith box with my $40 coupon. It works with a rabbit ears I connected to it, got 3 HDTV stations.

    Now the problem, I was led to believe if I connected the Ant. in (F-connector) to my cable TV connection and connected the F-connector out to my analog TV I would be able to receive all my cable channels and any "digital" ones I was not able to get before.

    I hooked it up and -- I got absolutely nothing! I thought the box was bad, that I hooked up the old rabbit ears and the auto-scan picked up 3 stations.

    What an I missing here?

    Please help if you can.

    There's probably nothing wrong with it.
    I have an Insignia box from Best Buy, connected to an external antenna, that doesn't pass the analog signals.
    Presumably the reason is that since there will be no analog signals, there's no need to tune anything except UHF.

    There IS NO pass-through on that unit. I have 2 and use a splitter for other uses. You SHOULD NOT use the included coax cables as mine were puke and worked poorly! The connections at cable ends faulted with slight movement! Replace with what's laying around the house or get another! btw, no microwave oven interference in signal as with over the air signals ...using a CHEAP rabbit ears and am very happy with the performance!
